New in the fleet (from June 2020): Vissermanaak HA 1. The design of this Lemsteraak in fisherman's version is a 13.00 m long design by Martin Bekebrede. The HA 1 was built in 2005 by SRF (Scheepsreparatie Friesland) in Harlingen. Elegant lines that do not stop anywhere and perfectly drawn bow and stern characterize this traditional sailing ship.
The interior is very comfortable with standing room, sleeping accommodation for max. 6 persons, divided into two single berths and and a twopersonsbed in the front of the boat, ywo more berth rebuid the seating area in the saloon, a galley in the saloon with gas cooker, oven and refrigerator, hookbench with table.
Special features (typical for Visserman) are the low superstructure and the large open cockpit, which invites to stay outside. As with all Visserman models, this one is very deep inside the boat and therefore especially safe, especially when travelling with even smaller children.
The open cockpit offers plenty of seating, a large table where you can eat with the whole crew.
With a draught of only 1.00 meter, the ship is ideal for drying out on the mudflats and for the Frisian inland waterways.
Also, this traditional sailing boat may sailed without a license, but you need good experience with flat bottoms.
When maneuvering in narrow harbors, the skipper has support from a bow thruster.
This traditional sailor is handed over to the guests by the owners Akke and Eeuwe de Jong in Heeg. They operate a motor service and maintenance company for boats and ships, the guests can trust to take over a technically perfect and safe sailingboat.
