The Lemsteraak 'Bries' was built in 1915 in Amsterdam. Many of today's "old" Lemsteraken have formerly served as fishing vessels or passenger and goods transport ships before they were converted to yachts. The "Bries" was conceived just as a charter yacht and is one of the first charter boats in the Netherlands.
For this reason, the "Bries" in the construction was carried very wide with enormous interior, the gangboard is 70 cm wide. After a complete refit in 2010/2011, she is now back for 8 charter guests.
Equipped with Mariphone, plotter and the current water maps will be open the sailing area of the lakes and the Wadden Sea.
The ship can be hydraulically steered with a wheel. Below deck invites a large lounge and a fully equipped kitchen to a cozy stay. The ship has 2 cabins for 2 people and 1 cabin for 4 people.
